Joining the Choirs
Join a Just in Time Choir
Whether you are a seasoned chorister or a shower soloist, there is a place for you at Just in Time Choirs. We offer three dynamic ensembles and a welcoming community built around music, connection, creativity, and a lot of laughter.
Our weekly rehearsals provide a safe, encouraging, and uplifting environment where singers of all experience levels come together to learn new songs, leave the worries of the day behind, and share something meaningful through music.
We offer two terms each year:
- Fall Term – beginning in September
- Spring Term – beginning in January
Each term runs approximately 12 weeks and concludes with a concert performance.
Our Choirs
Unplugged – Everyone Welcome
No audition. No experience required. Just a desire to sing.
Unplugged is our largest choir, typically welcoming around 75 singers. Whether you are an experienced vocalist or brand new to choral singing, you will feel at home here.
- Sheet music and practice recordings are provided
- All voices and experience levels are welcome
- Performance wear: all black (no purchase required)
Rehearsal Time:
Wednesdays, 7:15–9:00 pm
Additional at-home practice using provided materials is expected.

Please note: space is limited due to rehearsal and stage capacity.
Auditioned Choirs
For singers seeking a higher level of challenge and commitment, we offer two auditioned ensembles. These groups are smaller and fully amplified—every singer performs on a microphone.
The Jems
An auditioned treble ensemble of approximately 16 singers.
- Performance wear: black with some bling
- Rehearsals: Thursdays, 5:30–7:15 pm
Vocal Minority
An auditioned SATB mixed ensemble of approximately 16 singers.
- Performance wear: black and white
- Rehearsals: Thursdays, 7:15–9:00 pm
Additional individual practice using provided scores and recordings is expected for both auditioned choirs.
To express interest in the auditioned choirs, please email justintimechoirs@gmail.com attention Music Director. Auditions are generally held prior to the beginning of the new term.
Our Registration Process for Unplugged (Three Phases)
To ensure fairness and manage capacity, registration takes place in three phases:
Phase 1: Expression of Interest (Priority Access)
We begin by inviting current members from the previous two terms to submit an Expression of Interest. This allows returning singers first opportunity to continue with the choir. The Music Director balances each section of the choir at 80%.
Phase 2: Registration & Payment
Invited singers receive a registration link with instructions to confirm their spot and submit payment.
Phase 3: Open Registration
Any remaining spaces are then opened to former members and the general public.
